Apart from décor made up of white and orange flowers that matched their wedding outfits, Rana and Miheeka’s wedding also had live music, with a stage set up for these musicians elsewhere and streamed to the wedding venue. Rana Dagubatti could also be heard welcoming the guests to the wedding and reading private messages as to how much he wishes they could be there in person. Some of the guests and even Suresh Babu could be seen with masks on, not to mention, even Naga Chaitanya was spotted on the Live Streaming. Naga Chaitanya, whose pictures from the Roka still make rounds, attended the Pellikoduku ceremony but his pictures weren’t released. Samantha on the other hand was present for all the ceremonies, including the Mehendi.

Rana Daggubati & Miheeka Bajaj’s Haldi & Mehendi decor was done by wedding architect Bling Mushrooms and Miheeka’s company Dew Drop studio. The couple knew exactly what they wanted for their big day. The ceremony, held at the memorial of Rana’s grandfather D Ramanaidu in Hyderabad’s Ramanaidu Studios, was understated and the couple opted for minimalist decor with local tuberoses, rudraksha and baby’s breath flowers beautifully suspended from a tree under which they laid out rustic cane furniture.

The wedding ceremony was a small but a dream-like affair was captured by Reels and Frames and Rohan Kumar. The Wedding was celebrated in both Telugu and Marwari traditions and this intercultural wedding was one to remember. Right from the Pellikoduku ceremony to taking pheras, no major ritual was missed, sources suggest. They sat on silver and rusted orange seats to perform the wedding rituals in a white-colored mandap at Ramanaidu Studios.

The newly-wed couple found a way to ensure none of their friends and loved ones feel like they’re missing out on the wedding. They did not just live-stream the whole wedding to chosen guests, they also did it all in virtual reality so the guests could feel like they’re actually at the wedding. Along with the wedding invites that they sent out, they also handed special glasses required to view the wedding and a private link so guests could watch the whole event.

Rana Dagubatti is always known to be very technologically savvy, always looking for ways to bring modern technology to filmmaking in Tollywood also. So it’s no surprise that this is how he chose to ensure his guests carefully attend the wedding despite the pandemic. The link was even made public for a few minutes and one could see Rana and Miheeka sitting on silver and rust-orange settees, performing the rituals. They even took the pheras before the link was made private again.

Their wedding was celebrated dreamily and above all keeping up with the safety protocols that the government has issued regarding the entire pandemic situation. Sanitizer stands, face masks, and disinfectant tunnels were placed at the venue. They followed the social distancing norms ensured that safety was of the highest priority.
